Antique 20th century good quality writing table in oak, a beautifully made and versatile piece that combines practical proportions with the timeless character of traditional oak furniture.
Standing on four turned legs, the table has an elegant yet sturdy appearance, making it well suited to regular everyday use.
Two generous drawers provide useful storage for stationery, paperwork and smaller belongings, each finished by decorative brass handles that complement the oak beautifully.
The grain is a particularly lovely feature, showing rich natural patterns and beautiful colour across the surface and drawer fronts.
Its practical size makes it an excellent choice for a home office or study, while its attractive design would work equally well as a writing desk in a living room, bedroom or quiet reading area.
In good condition, well made and of good quality, this highly desirable table offers a wonderful balance of useful storage, beautiful oak and enduring character.
