This exceptional antique 20th century bureau bookcase in mahogany is a fine example of traditional craftsmanship and timeless design.
The piece is beautifully constructed from high-quality mahogany, displaying a rich tone and a striking grain that flows harmoniously across every surface. Carefully detailed throughout, it features elegant crossbanding in satinwood and ebony, adding a refined contrast—most notably seen on the fall front, drawer facings, and shelf edges.
The upper section comprises a glazed bookcase with three adjustable interior shelves, ideal for showcasing books, collectibles, or decorative pieces. Beneath, the fall-front bureau opens to reveal a finely fitted interior, complete with small drawers, pigeonholes, and a central cupboard—perfectly designed for organised storage of stationery or personal items. The writing surface is both practical and beautifully presented, making it an ideal space for writing or laptop use.

- The delivery service consists of a two man team with a delivery timeframe of 3 - 15 working days from the date payment has been received. Please contact us to discuss any specific requirements and we will do our upmost to accommodate these, although no guarantees can be given.
- The courier will be in contact with you directly with details of exact delivery date and approximate time of arrival.
- We currently cover all of the UK Mainlands including most of Scotland.
