Antique 20th century stacking Globe Wernicke bookcase in oak, a highly desirable and cleverly designed piece combining classic character with remarkable versatility. Formed from four individual shelf sections, the bookcase can be easily taken apart, making it particularly practical for moving, arranging or reconfiguring as required. Each section has a glazed door which lifts and retracts smoothly into the cabinet, revealing the shelf within while keeping the door neatly out of the way when open. This clever mechanism is a particularly interesting feature of the design, allowing books and treasured items to remain protected while still being easily accessible. Gorgeous natural grain and rich colour can be admired throughout the oak, giving the bookcase plenty of warmth and character.

• We currently cover all of the UK Mainlands including most of Scotland.
