Antique Stools

The joint stool is one of the oldest forms of English furniture, made with pegged mortise-and-tenon joints rather than nails or glue. Our collection includes oak joint stools, including 19th-century examples, and William and Mary style stools.

A stool makes a handy side table, plant stand or extra seat. Every listing includes full measurements and detailed photographs.
