What we collect and why

ActFurniture LTD is the data controller for the information collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 12737880, registered office 41 Whitefriars Road, Hereford HR2 7XE.

When you place an order, make an enquiry or arrange a viewing, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, delivery address and the details of your order. Payment is handled by our payment providers, so we never see or store your full card details. As you browse the site we also collect basic technical information such as your IP address, device type and the pages you view.

We use this information to take and fulfil your order, to arrange delivery or collection with our courier, to answer your enquiries, to keep proper business and tax records, and to protect the site against fraud. We rely on the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running the business and, where it is needed, your consent.

We share only what is necessary: with our courier so that your delivery can be arranged, with our payment providers, and with Wix, who host this website. We also share information where the law requires it. We never sell your personal information to anyone.

Order and payment records are kept for six years, as tax rules require. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to two years.
