This antique 19th century Regency style bookcase is a truly fine example of craftsmanship and design.
Constructed from rich mahogany, it is very well made and of excellent quality, standing proudly on a plinth base with a solid and timeless presence. The piece boasts a magnificent grain and stunning colour throughout, complemented by elegant Regency-style decoration that enhances its overall character.
The top section features a beautifully glazed two-door cabinet, complete with key, housing three fully adjustable shelves—perfect for displaying books, porcelain, or decorative items. Beneath are two drawers for practical storage, followed by a blind two-door cupboard fitted with a singular fixed shelf inside, providing further versatility.
Highly desirable and rare to find, this bookcase is both decorative and functional, retaining its original charm and in great condition. For convenience, it comes apart into two sections for ease of transport. A special piece of furniture, it would make a wonderful and distinguished addition to any home.

Delivery is available throughout the UK mainland, including most areas of Scotland.
Each piece is carefully wrapped and protected prior to dispatch and delivered by our trusted private courier using a two-person team.
Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.
Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.
If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
