Antique Georgian Furniture

The Georgian period, from 1714 to 1837 and including the Regency, is often called the golden age of English furniture. It was the era of Chippendale, Hepplewhite and Sheraton, with well-proportioned designs, fine mahogany and honest country oak. This collection also includes earlier pieces, such as 17th-century oak coffers and William and Mary furniture.

Look for classic Georgian details: bracket feet, cockbeaded drawers, brass swan-neck and batwing handles, and the deep patina that only centuries of use can create. Our Georgian stock includes chests of drawers, side tables, writing tables, cupboards, coffers and bureaux, each with full measurements and detailed photographs.
