Antique 20th century Edwardian sideboard in golden oak, an impressive and characterful piece that blends the elegance of the Edwardian period with striking Jacobean-inspired detailing.
Exceptionally well made and of good quality, it offers both decorative appeal and practical storage.
The sideboard features a small raised gallery incorporating a bevel-edged mirror, creating an attractive focal point while enhancing its period charm. Below are two useful drawers above a spacious double-door cupboard, all retaining their original handles and fittings.
Standing proudly on beautifully turned barley twist legs, the piece is adorned throughout with eye-catching geometric decoration, reflecting the craftsmanship and influence of the Jacobean revival style.
The golden oak displays a wonderfully rich colour and beautifully figured grain, giving the sideboard a warm and inviting appearance. Its impressive proportions, intricate detailing and original features make it a particularly desirable example that would complement both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Presented in good condition, this elegant Edwardian sideboard is a fine example of quality craftsmanship and timeless design.
Combining practicality with exceptional decorative appeal, it would make a striking addition to any dining room, hallway or living space.
