Antique 20th century carved oak desk, very well made and of good quality, featuring an unusual and attractive design.
The desk has a central drawer, a cupboard below, and a single door cupboard on either side, each fitted with a singular internal shelf, offering practical storage as well as visual appeal.
Stood on turned legs with a supporting stretcher, the piece is both sturdy and well proportioned. Subtle carving to the drawer front and cupboard doors adds decorative interest without overpowering the design. The oak displays a gorgeous grain and warm colour throughout.
In good condition, this is a very desirable and versatile piece, perfect as a desk or work table and a great addition to any home.
