Antique 20th century small Edwardian bookcase in oak, a delightful piece with an abundance of subtle decorative detail and a particularly useful compact size.
Well made and of good quality, it has an appealing Edwardian character that makes it equally suited to a hallway, study, bedroom or living space.
Decorative carved detailing follows the edges throughout the piece, giving definition to its shape and adding interest without being overly elaborate. The lower section incorporates a useful compartment, providing a convenient place for storing and displaying books or other items.
Gorgeous grain and colour can be seen throughout the oak, with the warm tones helping to highlight the carved decoration.
Its smaller proportions and distinctive design make it a very desirable and versatile example.
Remaining in good condition, this charming Edwardian bookcase offers plenty of character and would be a wonderful addition to any home.
