Antique Edwardian sideboard in mahogany, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of excellent quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and beautifully executed marquetry inlay.
The front has a pair of panelled cupboard doors, each opening to a shelved interior and fitted with ornate brass drop handles, flanking a central arched open recess beneath an inlaid frieze.
Each door is inlaid with an oval medallion depicting a cherub, surrounded by scrolling foliage, birds and flowers in boxwood and fruitwoods, with a matching inlaid scroll to the frieze. The case is outlined with boxwood stringing and has a shaped apron, and the sideboard stands on square tapering legs with stringing, ending in brass castors.
The mahogany displays a stunning flame-figured grain to the sides and a warm, rich colour with a lovely mellow patina.
Presented in good condition commensurate with age. A very desirable Edwardian inlaid sideboard of neat proportions, a perfect addition to any dining room, living room or hallway.

Each piece is carefully wrapped and protected prior to dispatch and delivered by our trusted private courier using a two-person team.
Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.
Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.
If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
