Antique Georgian tripod wine table in mahogany, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and the elegant simplicity of the period.
The square top is made from solid mahogany boards and tilts to the vertical, held by its brass snap catch, so the table can be stood neatly against a wall or in a corner when not in use.
The top is supported by cleats on a turned block, above a ring-turned baluster column. It stands on three gracefully shaped cabriole legs ending in neat pad feet. The underside shows the hand-cut screws and timber colour you would expect from a period piece.
The mahogany displays a lovely figured grain and a warm, rich colour, with a deep patina built up over many years.
Presented in good condition with some minor signs of age and use consistent with its age. A very desirable and versatile table, perfect as a lamp table, wine table or occasional table beside a sofa or armchair.

Delivery is available throughout the UK mainland, including most areas of Scotland.
Each piece is carefully wrapped and protected prior to dispatch and delivered by our trusted private courier using a two-person team.
Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.
Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.
If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
