Antique 19th century Victorian Gothic Revival dressing table in oak, a striking and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and the bold decorative spirit of the period.
The top is surmounted by a canted swing mirror held between shaped supports with pierced roundels, flanked by two small trinket drawers. Below, the frieze is fitted with two drawers, all with brass ring handles on quatrefoil backplates.
The edges are finished with inlaid chevron banding, and the corners are decorated with carved and inlaid star roundels. It stands on boldly turned legs joined by a turned H-stretcher, ending in brass castors.
The oak displays a lovely grain and a warm, golden honey colour, with a soft patina built up over many years.
Presented in good condition, it is a very desirable and characterful piece, perfect for a bedroom or dressing room, and would make a wonderful addition to any home.

Each piece is carefully wrapped and protected prior to dispatch and delivered by our trusted private courier using a two-person team.
Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.
Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.
If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
