Antique early 20th century tea trolley in oak, made in the Jacobean style, a charming and well-made piece of good quality, showcasing traditional craftsmanship.
The trolley has two tiers, each with a raised moulded edge to keep cups, glasses and bottles safely in place, making it ideal as a tea trolley, drinks trolley or a handy serving piece.
The upper tier is framed by carved aprons with scrolling leaf-carved brackets to each side, and the corners are finished with square blocks and carved roundel tops. It stands on baluster-turned legs ending in block feet, fitted with castors so it moves easily from room to room.
The oak has a rich, dark colour and a lovely aged patina, with the grain showing nicely across the tops.
Presented in good condition. A very desirable and practical piece, perfect for a dining room, sitting room or kitchen.
