Antique early 20th century Jacobean style set of four dining chairs in oak, handsome and well-proportioned chairs of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship.
The set comprises four side chairs, each with a drop-in seat upholstered in green fabric.
Each chair has a carved scrolling crest rail between turned finials, a panelled back splat with applied bead mouldings and barley twist uprights, and stands on barley twist front legs with block joints and turned feet, joined by stretchers.
The oak displays a lovely figured grain and a warm, rich dark colour with a mellow patina.
Presented in good condition commensurate with age. A very desirable set of oak dining chairs, a perfect addition to any dining room or kitchen.
