Antique early 20th century Georgian style chest of drawers in mahogany, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and elegant, understated lines.
The chest has four long graduated drawers, each fitted with a pair of brass lion mask ring handles.
The top has a crossbanded edge, with crossbanded drawer dividers, and the case sits on a moulded plinth raised on shaped bracket feet.
The mahogany displays a lovely figured grain and a warm, rich colour with a mellow patina.
Presented in good condition commensurate with age. Of compact, apartment-friendly proportions, this is a very desirable small mahogany chest of drawers, a perfect addition to any bedroom, hallway or living room, and equally useful as a bedside chest.
