Antique Georgian style bow front sideboard in mahogany, a neat and elegant piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and compact proportions.
The bow front has a central frieze drawer over an arched kneehole, flanked by a cupboard to each side, all with pressed brass ring handles; with its kneehole it would also serve beautifully as a writing desk or dressing table.
The shaped top has a low upstand to the back, and it stands on six square tapering legs ending in spade feet, in the manner of Sheraton and Hepplewhite.
The top is cut from flame-figured mahogany, displaying a stunning grain and a warm, rich colour with a lovely patina.
Presented in good condition commensurate with age. A very desirable compact sideboard, a perfect addition to any dining room, hallway, study or bedroom.
