Antique early 20th century sideboard in solid oak, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing simple, honest craftsmanship and a pleasing country character.
The sideboard offers generous storage, with two frieze drawers above a pair of panelled cupboard doors. Each drawer is fitted with a pair of brass beaded ring pulls, and the cupboards open to reveal a shelf to either side, with keyholes to both doors.
It is constructed in the traditional manner, with a moulded overhanging top, fielded twin-panel doors and sturdy square stile feet. The back is formed of broad, solid boards, a mark of its age and quality.
The oak displays a lovely figured grain with attractive medullary rays to the sides, and a warm, rich colour with a soft patina built up over many years.
Presented in good condition, it is a very desirable and practical piece, perfect for a dining room, kitchen or hallway, and would make a wonderful addition to any home.

Delivery is available throughout the UK mainland, including most areas of Scotland.
Each piece is carefully wrapped and protected prior to dispatch and delivered by our trusted private courier using a two-person team.
Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.
Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.
If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
