Antique 19th century Victorian pot cupboard in pine, a charming and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine country craftsmanship.
It has a single door with an arched moulded panel, opening to reveal a generous storage space, ideal beside the bed or in a bathroom. The door has a turned wooden knob and a small turn catch inside.
The top is enclosed by a three-quarter gallery with shaped ends above a moulded edge, and the cabinet stands on a moulded plinth base. The back is made of pine boards, typical of the period.
The pine displays a lovely figured grain and a warm honey colour with a well-aged patina.
Presented in good condition with honest signs of age. A very desirable Victorian pot cupboard, the perfect addition to any bedroom, bathroom or country kitchen.
