Vintage 20th century Jacobean style writing desk in oak, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship.
The front has a central frieze drawer over the kneehole with a shaped apron, flanked by two drawers to each side, five drawers in all, each with moulded fronts and twisted iron ring handles.
The desk has a moulded top with a finished back, so it can stand in the middle of a room, and stands on bobbin turned legs with block feet joined by stretchers.
The oak displays a stunning figured grain and a warm, rich colour with a deep antique finish.
Presented in good condition. A very desirable oak writing desk, a perfect addition to any study, home office or bedroom.
