Vintage 20th century Regency style coffee table in mahogany, a generously sized and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and lovely inlaid detail.
The circular top is finished with a banded border of chequered stringing and centred by an inlaid marquetry patera, set over a shallow frieze.
It is raised on a turned vase-shaped column above a tripod base of three elegant splayed sabre legs, each outlined with fine stringing.
The mahogany displays an attractive figured grain and a warm, rich golden colour with a lovely mellow patina.
Presented in good condition commensurate with age. A very desirable round coffee table, a perfect addition to any living room, snug or conservatory.
