Vintage 20th century pine chest of drawers, a tall and narrow piece of good quality, showcasing simple country craftsmanship and a lovely warm character.
The chest is fitted with six graduated drawers, one above the other, each with a pair of turned wooden knob handles, offering generous storage within a slim footprint.
It has a moulded top over plain panelled sides and stands on a stepped plinth base, with a planked pine back.
The pine displays a lovely knotty figured grain and a warm, rich honey colour with a mellow patina.
Presented in good condition commensurate with age. A very desirable narrow pine chest, perfect for a bedroom, hallway or any space where room is at a premium.
