Vintage pair of French Louis XV style bedside tables in cherry, elegant and well-proportioned pieces of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship.
One table has a drawer above an open shelf, and its companion has three drawers, all with cast brass foliate handles and dovetailed construction.
Each has a shaped top with a raised gallery, serpentine aprons and slender cabriole legs ending in scroll toes, with finished panelled backs so they can stand away from the wall.
The cherry displays a lovely fine grain and a warm, rich colour with an attractive mellow patina.
Presented in good condition commensurate with age. A very desirable pair of French bedside tables, a perfect addition to any bedroom.
