Vintage 20th century pair of bedside cabinets in mahogany, made in the Regency manner, a handsome and well-proportioned pair of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and elegant bow-fronted lines.
Each cabinet has a frieze drawer with a brass swan neck handle on oval backplates, over an open shelf and a bow-fronted cupboard door opening to a shelf, giving useful storage either side of the bed.
The tops have moulded edges and a low gallery to the back, and each cabinet stands on a shaped apron with splayed bracket feet.
The drawer fronts and doors are veneered in a stunning flame mahogany, and the cabinets have a warm, rich colour with a lovely mellow patina.
Presented in good condition commensurate with age. A very desirable matching pair of bedside cabinets, a perfect addition to any bedroom.
