Vintage 20th century Sheraton style serpentine sideboard in mahogany, an elegant and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and lovely veneered decoration in the Georgian manner.
The serpentine front has a central frieze drawer with brass ring handles and lock, set above a shaped apron, flanked by a pair of shaped cupboard doors with matching ring handles and locks, the left opening to a single compartment and the right to a shelf; the drawer has a felt-lined base.
The top, drawer and doors are crossbanded in satinwood, with the door and drawer panels in flame mahogany with canted corners, and the sideboard stands on six slender square tapering legs ending in spade feet.
The mahogany displays a stunning flame-figured grain set off by the golden satinwood banding, and a warm, rich colour with a lovely mellow patina.
Presented in good condition commensurate with age. A very desirable mahogany sideboard of compact, elegant proportions, a perfect addition to any dining room, hallway or living room.

Each piece is carefully wrapped and protected prior to dispatch and delivered by our trusted private courier using a two-person team.
Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.
Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.
If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
