Antique 19th century Georgian style Pembroke table in mahogany, a beautifully crafted example of traditional cabinet making, very well made and of fine quality.
Elegant in both design and proportion, this versatile table is as practical as it is decorative, making it an ideal addition to a wide range of interiors.
The table features two drop leaves, one on either side, allowing it to be used in a variety of settings while folding away neatly when not in use. A single drawer retains its original knob handle, providing convenient storage for smaller items.
Raised on graceful tapered legs fitted with brass castors, the table is easy to move while maintaining its authentic period character.
A particular highlight is the decorative ebony stringing, which adds a refined contrast against the richly coloured mahogany. The timber displays gorgeous natural grain and a deep, warm patina throughout, reflecting the quality of the materials and the high standard of craftsmanship. Its elegant proportions and original features make this a highly desirable example.
Presented in good condition, this handsome Georgian style Pembroke table combines timeless elegance with everyday practicality.
Whether used as a lamp table, occasional table or for entertaining, it is a superb piece of antique furniture that would make a perfect addition to any home.
