An antique 19th century kidney-shaped side table in satinwood, a very unique and rare example of fine period furniture.
Beautifully inlaid throughout with elegant ebony and satinwood stringing, showcasing excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. The gracefully shaped top is complemented by a useful shelf to the base, adding both practicality and visual balance.
The table stands on slender tapered legs, enhancing its refined proportions and elegant silhouette. Gorgeous grain and warm colour are evident throughout, with the satinwood displaying a soft, attractive sheen.
Very well made and of good quality, this piece remains in good condition and retains strong period character. A highly desirable and decorative item, it would make a perfect addition to any home, fitting equally well in a traditional or more eclectic interior.
