Antique 20th century chest of drawers in mahogany, in the Arts & Crafts manner, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and clean, honest lines.
It offers three long graduated drawers, each fitted with a pair of brass ring handles on decorative round back plates. The central drawer is set with an applied ebonised geometric roundel, a striking detail that gives the piece real character.
The top has a moulded edge and slight overhang, the base is finished with a moulded plinth rail, and the square legs run up into the sides with shaped brackets, a typical Arts & Crafts feature that lends the chest a light, elegant stance.
The mahogany displays an attractive straight grain and a deep, rich colour with a pleasing patina.
A practical size for a bedroom or landing, it is presented in good condition. A very desirable chest and a perfect addition to any home.

Delivery is available throughout the UK mainland, including most areas of Scotland.
Each piece is carefully wrapped and protected prior to dispatch and delivered by our trusted private courier using a two-person team.
Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.
Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.
If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
