Antique 18th century Georgian side table in oak, a wonderfully characterful period piece with the simple, honest proportions that make Georgian furniture so appealing.
Standing on four sturdy square legs, the table has a strong and well-balanced form that beautifully complements the natural warmth of the oak.
A large drawer to the front offers useful storage and is finished with decorative brass handles, adding a touch of elegance to the otherwise understated design. The oak has developed a gorgeous grain and rich colour, giving the table a lovely sense of age and individuality.
In good condition, well made and of good quality, this desirable piece has an enduring quality that has allowed it to remain both useful and attractive for centuries.
Its simplicity is very much part of its charm, making it a beautiful example of traditional Georgian furniture.
