Antique late 18th / early 19th century Georgian chest of drawers in mahogany, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship.
It offers excellent storage with two short drawers over two long graduated drawers, each with a keyhole and fitted with a pair of oval stamped brass plate handles with beaded edges.
The drawers are finished with fine cockbeading and run on a moulded base, standing on shaped bracket feet, with a traditional boarded pine back and pine-lined drawers typical of the period.
The mahogany displays a rich, deep colour with attractive figuring to the top and drawer fronts, and a lovely aged patina built up over many years.
Presented in good condition with neat, compact proportions, a very desirable piece that would make a perfect addition to any bedroom, hallway or living room.

Delivery is available throughout the UK mainland, including most areas of Scotland.
Each piece is carefully wrapped and protected prior to dispatch and delivered by our trusted private courier using a two-person team.
Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.
Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.
If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
