Antique 19th century Victorian oval loo table in burr walnut, a handsome and elegant piece of excellent quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and the decorative flair of the period.
The oval top is beautifully veneered in highly figured burr walnut, framed by an inlaid marquetry border with boxwood stringing and inlaid paterae, and finished with a moulded edge. It has a tilt-top action secured by brass catches, allowing it to be stood upright against a wall when not in use. It makes an ideal centre table, breakfast table or small dining table for four.
The top is supported by four turned and ringed columns with a central carved finial, rising from a platform base with carved square panels. It stands on four carved scrolling cabriole legs with acanthus-carved toes, each fitted with its original castors.
The burr walnut displays a stunning swirling figure and a warm, rich golden brown colour with a lovely aged patina.
Presented in good condition, a very desirable Victorian table, perfect addition to any dining room, drawing room or hallway.

Each piece is carefully wrapped and protected prior to dispatch and delivered by our trusted private courier using a two-person team.
Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.
Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.
If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
