Antique Victorian console table in mahogany, a handsome and well-made piece of good quality, showcasing fine carving and craftsmanship.
The shaped top sits over a bow-fronted frieze drawer with turned wooden knobs, the drawer fitted with a divider inside.
The front is raised on boldly carved cabriole legs with acanthus-carved knees and scroll feet, with spiral-twist turned legs to the back.
The mahogany displays a lovely figured grain and a warm, rich colour, with a well-faded top showing an attractive aged patina.
Presented in good condition, with marks and scratches to the top consistent with age and use. A very desirable console table, perfect for a hallway or landing, or as a dressing table.
