Antique 19th century Victorian period chest of drawers in pine, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and charming decorative detail.
It offers four long drawers, the top frieze drawer set slightly forward between shaped corner blocks, each drawer fitted with a pair of brass flower-head drop handles and a decorative pierced brass keyhole escutcheon.
The lower three drawers are flanked by carved scrolled corbel pilasters, the moulded top overhangs a frieze with a moulded edge, and the case sits on a moulded base raised on turned bun feet to the front and block feet to the back. The carcass is of traditional dovetailed construction with a panelled back.
The pine displays a lovely figured grain and a warm, rich honey colour with an attractive aged patina.
Presented in good antique condition, it is a very desirable piece with plenty of character and a perfect addition to any bedroom, hallway or country interior.

Each piece is carefully wrapped and protected prior to dispatch and delivered by our trusted private courier using a two-person team.
Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.
Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.
If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
