Vintage mid 20th century sideboard in elm, a stylish and well-made piece of good quality, showcasing the clean lines and fine craftsmanship of classic 1950s-60s British design.
The front is fitted with a pair of sliding doors with contrasting straight-grained veneers and dark recessed edges that act as finger pulls. Behind them the interior is divided into compartments with adjustable shelves on each side, offering generous storage for dining ware, records or media.
The elm case has a neatly framed top and panelled sides, and sits on a slim plinth raised on four dark tapered legs, giving it a light and elegant stance.
The elm displays a lovely figured grain and a warm, honeyed golden colour, contrasting beautifully with the richer tones of the doors.
Presented in good vintage condition, a very desirable mid century piece, perfect addition to any dining room, living room or as a stylish media unit.
