Vintage mid 20th century chest of drawers in mahogany, a stylish and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing the clean lines and fine craftsmanship of mid century British design.
The chest offers excellent storage, with three short drawers over four deep drawers arranged in two banks of two. Each drawer is fitted with a turned wooden knob handle with a brass collar.
The top has a gently shaped front edge and moulded rim, and the drawers are framed by slim moulded rails. The case stands on a raised base with elegant square tapering legs.
The mahogany displays a lovely striped grain and a warm, rich colour, with the drawer fronts in a darker, finely figured veneer that contrasts beautifully with the case.
Presented in good vintage condition, with some fading and marks to the top. A very desirable mid century chest of drawers, perfect for any bedroom, hallway or living room.
