Vintage 20th century narrow cupboard in solid oak, a well-made and neatly proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine traditional craftsmanship.
The cupboard is enclosed by a single fielded panel door with an arched top, fitted with a turned brass knob and decorative brass H hinges. It opens to reveal a useful interior with three shelves, offering generous storage for linen, books, records or everyday items.
It is finished with a moulded overhanging top and stands on a moulded plinth base with shaped cut-outs to the front and sides.
The oak displays a lovely quarter-sawn figured grain with attractive medullary ray flashes to the sides, and a warm, rich golden colour.
Its slim footprint makes it ideal for a hallway, alcove, bathroom or bedroom. Presented in good condition, a very desirable and practical piece, perfect addition to any home.
