Vintage 20th century sectional stacking bookcase in oak by Minty of Oxford, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing the fine craftsmanship of these renowned library specialists.
The upper part is formed of three individual glazed sections, each fitted with a pair of sliding glass doors with slim metal pulls, keeping books and collections free from dust. These stand on a cupboard base with a pair of panelled doors fitted with chrome bar handles, opening to a divided interior.
The bookcase has a moulded top, a neat stepped plinth on block feet, and bears the original Minty Limited Library Specialists Oxford maker's label to the top section.
The oak displays an attractive grain and a rich, dark colour with a lovely mellow patina.
Presented in good condition commensurate with age. Being sectional, the bookcase comes apart into its individual sections, which makes delivery and access easy. A very desirable Minty oak bookcase, a perfect addition to any study, library or living room.
