Vintage 20th century pine open bookcase, a solid and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing honest country craftsmanship and a warm, mellow finish.
The bookcase offers generous open storage across three tiers, with two shelves above the base shelf, ideal for books, records or display pieces.
It is finished with a deep moulded cornice to the top and stands on a solid plinth base with a shaped, bracket-cut apron to the front. The back is enclosed with vertical pine boards, giving a neat finish from every angle.
The pine displays an attractive knotty grain and a warm honey colour, with a lovely mellow patina throughout.
Presented in good condition, a very useful and versatile bookcase, perfect for a living room, study, hallway or bedroom.
