Vintage 20th century burr walnut tallboy chest of drawers in the Georgian manner, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and elegant bow-fronted lines.
It offers generous storage across seven graduated drawers, arranged as three in the upper section over four in the lower, each fitted with a pair of brass swan-neck handles on shaped batwing back plates.
The case is finished with a moulded cornice and a moulded edge between the two sections, and the whole piece stands on shaped bracket feet. The top is veneered in a well-matched burr walnut panel with a crossbanded border.
The burr walnut displays a wonderful figured grain and a warm, rich golden colour, complemented by the deeper tone of the straight-grained sides.
Of compact, neat proportions, it fits comfortably into a smaller bedroom or hallway, and it comes apart in two sections for easier delivery and access. Presented in good condition, it is a very desirable piece and a perfect addition to any home.

Each piece is carefully wrapped and protected prior to dispatch and delivered by our trusted private courier using a two-person team.
Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.
Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.
