Oak

Antique Oak Furniture

Oak has been the backbone of English furniture for centuries. It is strong, beautifully grained, and develops a rich, warm colour and patina with age. Our antique oak collection is one of our largest, running from carved 17th-century coffers and Georgian country chests to Victorian Gothic Revival, Arts & Crafts golden oak and Art Deco pieces.

You will find oak chests of drawers, sideboards and dresser bases, dining tables, bookcases, bureaux, cupboards and blanket boxes. Look for the distinctive medullary rays (silvery flashes in quarter-sawn oak) and a deep, even colour. Every listing includes full measurements and detailed photographs.

Shop by type: chests of drawers, sideboards and dining tables, or browse other woods: mahogany, walnut and pine.

Every piece is cleaned and carefully wrapped, then delivered to the room of your choice by our two-person team anywhere on the UK mainland for £65. You can also view and collect free of charge from our Malvern stockroom, by appointment, and all purchases come with our 14-day returns policy.
