Antique 19th century long Georgian tavern bench in oak, a wonderfully characterful piece with impressive proportions and a timeless rustic appeal.
Its generous length gives the bench a real sense of presence, providing ample seating and making it particularly well suited to a large dining space, hallway or traditional country interior.
Simple in design yet full of character, much of its beauty comes from the oak itself, displaying a striking natural grain and rich colour throughout.
The substantial proportions and beautifully aged timber give the bench an authentic appearance that is difficult to replicate in modern furniture.
In good condition, well made and of good quality, this highly desirable piece offers both practical seating and genuine period charm.
A beautiful example of traditional Georgian furniture, it would make a distinctive and inviting feature within any home.
