Antique oak dresser base in the Georgian manner, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and the timeless appeal of the English country style.
It is fitted with three frieze drawers, each with a moulded lipped front and a pierced brass swan-neck handle on a shaped backplate, offering useful storage for stationery and everyday essentials.
The top has a moulded edge and sits above a pegged frame with panelled sides. Beneath the drawers runs a finely shaped and pierced apron, and the table stands on elegant cabriole front legs ending in pad feet, with square back legs in the traditional country manner.
The oak displays a lovely figured grain and a warm, rich colour, with a deep patina built up over many years, particularly striking across the top.
Presented in good condition, it would make a very desirable dresser base, console or hall table, a perfect addition to any study, hallway or period interior.

Delivery is available throughout the UK mainland, including most areas of Scotland.
Each piece is carefully wrapped and protected prior to dispatch and delivered by our trusted private courier using a two-person team.
Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.
Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.
If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
