Antique 19th century Victorian chest of drawers in mahogany, a large and handsome piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and generous proportions.
The chest offers excellent storage with two short drawers over three long graduated drawers, each with cockbeaded edges, turned wooden knob handles and a keyhole escutcheon.
The top has a moulded edge with softly rounded front corners, matched by the rounded front stiles, beneath a plain frieze, and the chest stands on a deep plinth base with rounded corners.
The mahogany displays a lovely figured grain to the drawer fronts and top, with a warm, rich colour and a lovely mellow patina.
Presented in good condition commensurate with age. A very desirable large Victorian mahogany chest of drawers, a perfect addition to any bedroom, landing or dressing room.

Delivery is available throughout the UK mainland, including most areas of Scotland.
Each piece is carefully wrapped and protected prior to dispatch and delivered by our trusted private courier using a two-person team.
Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.
Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.
If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
