Antique early 20th century Sheraton style bow front sideboard in mahogany, an elegant and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship in the late 18th century manner.
The sideboard is fitted with a central drawer above an arched kneehole, flanked by two cupboard doors, each opening to a shelved interior. The drawer is finished with oval brass ring handles on embossed patera backplates.
The bow front top is crossbanded, and the cupboard doors are veneered with matched flame mahogany panels. It stands on square tapering legs ending in spade feet, and the back is finished in mahogany so it can stand away from the wall.
The mahogany displays a stunning flame figure to the doors and a beautiful figured grain to the top and sides, with a warm, rich colour.
Presented in good condition, a very desirable small sideboard, perfect for a dining room, hallway or apartment where space is at a premium.
