Antique 19th century Victorian oil lamp in brass with frosted glass, a wonderfully distinctive piece with an abundance of period character.
The brass construction gives the lamp a rich and traditional appearance, beautifully complemented by the softly frosted glass globe shade above.
Delicate decorative detailing across the glass adds further interest, making the shade one of the most eye-catching features of the design.
Its unusual combination of materials and elegant proportions gives the lamp a character all of its own, making it equally appealing as a decorative feature or part of an antique lighting collection.
In good condition, well made and of good quality, this highly desirable Victorian oil lamp is a beautiful period piece that would bring charm and individuality to any interior.
