Vintage 20th century side cabinet in rosewood, made in the Regency style, an elegant and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and striking decorative detail.
It features a pair of doors fitted with brass lattice grilles over a dark ground, opening to reveal two compartments divided by a central upright, each fitted with a shelf finished with a brass edge.
The cabinet has a shaped top with rounded front corners above a frieze of gilt-brass leaf and bead mouldings. Fluted columns with gilt-brass capitals and leaf mounts flank the doors, and it is raised on turned legs with beaded brass collars.
The rosewood displays a stunning figured grain and a warm, rich colour, contrasting beautifully with the brass mounts.
Presented in good condition. A very desirable Regency style cabinet, the perfect addition to any living room, dining room or hallway.
