Vintage pair of late 20th century bedside chests in solid pine, a charming and practical pair of good quality, showcasing honest country-style craftsmanship.
Each bedside has three drawers with moulded fronts and turned wooden knob handles, giving plenty of handy storage either side of the bed.
The tops have a neat moulded edge, and each chest stands on a shaped plinth base with a scalloped bracket apron to the front. The backs are made of solid boarded pine.
The pine displays a lovely knotty grain and a warm honey colour with a mellow patina.
Presented in good condition. A very desirable matching pair, a perfect addition to any bedroom, cottage or farmhouse interior.
