A stunning antique 19th-century rosewood desk, very well made and of fine quality.
This exceptional piece stands on turned legs with casters and features five front drawers, all fitted with their original brass handles.
The desk boasts a very unique and highly desirable design, with a beautifully inlaid satinwood top and an angled green leather writing surface that can be raised or lowered using a discreet button at the back.
The lift-up writing section reveals practical storage compartments for writing utensils and other essentials. Additionally, the base includes two shelves for further storage.
Crafted from rich rosewood, the desk displays a gorgeous grain and warm, deep colour throughout.
Solidly constructed and in good condition, this is a rare and remarkable example—perfect for adding elegance, character, and timeless style to any home.
