Antique 19th century Victorian breakfront desk in mahogany, a striking and beautifully proportioned piece distinguished by its unusual shape and commanding period presence.
Resting on a plinth base, the desk features two pedestals that create wonderful depth across the frontage and give the overall design a distinctive appearance. Large cupboard doors to either side open to reveal a single internal shelf each, offering generous concealed storage.
Three drawers span the upper section, including a larger central drawer, providing further useful space while maintaining a beautifully balanced arrangement. Decorative brass handles finish the doors and drawers, standing out elegantly against the rich mahogany.
Gorgeous grain and colour flow throughout, drawing attention to the unique form and showcasing the beauty of the timber.
In good condition, well made and of excellent quality, this highly desirable Victorian desk is an impressive statement piece with generous storage and exceptional period character.
